Mission Statement
Our purpose is to bring people together to celebrate Jewish life. JCP is establishing a creative, inclusive, and open Jewish community and communal space in Lower Manhattan that meets the needs of the growing downtown population.
JCP is an open and organic Jewish community that enables individuals and families to become a creative force in the life of the organization, to explore their Jewish identity and connect to others through educational, cultural, social, and artistic programs.
JCP’s mission is also to build collaborative partnerships among Jewish institutions in Lower Manhattan in order to maximize communal resources. JCP’s ultimate goal is to create a healthy and evolving community in which members have a strong sense of personal ownership, community connections and Jewish identity.
