JCP Online Hebrew Tutoring Policies and Information
Prior to the first tutoring session, the JCP Online Hebrew Tutoring team will provide the student with all materials required for the program. The materials are intended solely for the use of the student as part of the program.
The JCP Online Hebrew Tutoring team will match the student with a tutor based on a number of factors. Unless otherwise agreed upon, all tutoring sessions will be thirty (30) minutes and conducted online.
Schedule, Cancellation Policy, and Late Arrival:
Students will be tutored based on a mutually agreeable schedule between the student’s guardian and the tutor. If a student must reschedule a scheduled session, the student or guardian must inform tutor via both email and phone as soon as possible. If the tutor receives notice at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session, the tutor will reschedule the session for a mutually convenient time. If the student or guardian notifies the tutor less than 24 hours prior to any scheduled session, the student forfeits the right to such scheduled session.
If the tutor needs to change a scheduled tutoring session, the tutor is responsible for rescheduling the tutoring session at the earliest convenience of both student and tutor.
If the student is not online at the scheduled time, the tutor will call and email the student and guardian. If the student is not online after ten (10) minutes from the start time of the session, the lesson is forfeited. No adjustment shall be made for time lost because of late arrival by the student.
Any lost time because of the late arrival of the tutor shall be compensated for by extending a lesson by mutual agreement and by such amount of time that was lost.
OHT sessions must be used by June 15, 2017.
