I am writing to let you know about the “End of Year Party and Book Drive” that we are having at PS142 on Thursday, May 28th from 5pm – 6:30pm. I invite all of you (and your families) to come by with your new (or very gently used) books for kids age preschool to 5th grade and help celebrate the end of another school year.
Ten days ago at the Hungarian Cultural Center at 497 Broadway, a new book was released on the Hidden Hungarian Jews during the Shoah. It is a remarkable collection of personal stories of 30 survivors.
