Holidays + Shabbat
Dear Friends,
The JCP Community gathers throughout the year to celebrate Shabbat and the Jewish holidays together in the JCP way. We come together on Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Simchat Torah, Hanukkah, Purim, Passover, Yom Ha Shoah, and Yom Ha’atzmaut at venues in Lower Manhattan. On Shabbat we sing and share Friday night meals together at Friday Night Lights, and enjoy neighborhood friends and the music of Jacob Stein on Tot Shabbat and PJ Havdalah.
Community gatherings and holiday celebrations are co-lead by staff and volunteers and designed to be educational, fun, relaxed, and joyous. JCP is not a membership organization – events are open to families and individuals interested in learning, participating, and celebrating Jewish life together.
