Say goodbye to Shabbat & share the warmth of the Havdalah ritual. Come together with Jacob Stein and the Center for Jewish Life team to sing, make your own Havdalah spices, experiment with light and shadow, and share a pizza dinner with JCP friends.

*Havdalah (Hebrew: הַבְדָּלָה, meaning ’separation’) is a Jewish religious ceremony that marks the symbolic end of Shabbat and holidays, and ushers in the new week. The five-minute ritual includes the use of spices, fire (Havdalah candle), and wine/grape juice.
