JCP Community

community bannerCommunity is the heartbeat at JCP, and the many on-ramps allow you to find your place at your own pace. We host celebrations for the major Jewish holidays during the year – Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Hannukah, Purim, and Passover. Our family-friendly holiday celebrations take place at public venues downtown, street festivals, public schools, and event spaces which makes for easy accessibility.

Social Action – Tikkun Olam is one of the pillars of our community life and an expression of our highest Jewish virtues. We host blood drives, food drives, clothing drives, and have a donation of the month program. We also post opportunities for our community to volunteer locally throughout the year, both inside and outside the walls of JCP.

JCP is here to help you celebrate and plan your life-cycle moments like baby namings, circumcisions, b’nai mitzvah, weddings, and funerals. We are only a phone call away and here for you.

Community Gatherings such as our annual Sept 11th Shofar Blast, the Annual Fundraiser and Benefit, and our Volunteer Appreciation events help to deepen our relationship with JCP, Jewish life downtown, and our neighborhood.

Everybody finds their own path into community at different stages and phases of life, we welcome you to participate in our community in the place that you find more meaningful and relevant.
