This summer JCP is offering a fun filled, camp experience for young children ages two and half through five years old. Our program provides a secure, caring, creative and joyful environment. While at JCP, campers will spend their time building friendships, community, and great memories. Children will participate in a variety of activities each week including arts and crafts, water play, tennis, music and drama.
New This Summer! JCP Camp Introduces Kayiz 2015, our Hebrew Language Camp Initiative. All JCP campers will take part in a Hebrew Language Specialty program and will have additional exposure to Hebrew language, vocabulary and music during their camp days. In addition, All-Camp Kabbalat Shabbat will take place each . All campers will come together to feel the community spirit, sing familiar Shabbat songs and say the blessings as a whole group. At registration, parents may pre-order challah for their child to take home each Friday, carrying over the Shabbat feeling from camp to home.
Our camp staff are highly trained and experienced early childhood educators who bring creativity and excitement to each camp day.
This year we are pleased to welcome our new camp supervisor, Frances Galli. Franny has been teaching for ten years, with seven of those years at JCP. She has been involved in JCP Camp for the past five years and is currently a Co-Head Teacher in the Yellow Room. Franny also teaches ‘Let’s Explore Science!’, one of the Preschool’s weekly After School Enrichment Classes. Franny holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education.
