Sukkot is a seven-day holiday recalling the wanderings of the Israelites in the desert after the biblical Exodus from Egypt. It is customary to spend time in a Sukkah, a temporary dwelling, eating or even sleeping there, throughout the holiday.

JCP’s celebration begins with an invitation to the community to help build and decorate the Sukkah. Then, throughout the week there are opportunities to eat enjoy a meal under the Sukkah with family and friends.
