Programs + Classes
Community is the heartbeat of JCP, and there are many connection points available for you to find the right place, and at your own pace. Browsing our website, you will find that we host celebrations for the major Jewish holidays during the year, including Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Hanukkah, Purim, and Passover. Our family-friendly holiday celebrations include take place at JCP itself, public venues downtown, street festivals, public schools, and event spaces which make for easy accessibility.
JCP also offers monthly Shabbat experiences, including Tot Shabbat and Friday Night Lights, as well as periodic Havdalah and Tzedakah Sundays (community service) programs.
Social Action – Tikkun Olam is one of the pillars of our community life, and a powerful expression of our highest Jewish values. We host blood drives, food drives, clothing drives, and aim to run a “donation of the month” program. We also post opportunities for our community to volunteer locally throughout the year, both inside and outside the walls of JCP.
Opportunities for adults to learn and discover Jewish themes, traditions and life experiences are expanding at JCP, through a variety of Adult Education courses which we offer throughout the year. People find a path into community at different stages and phases of life. At JCP, we invite you to participate in our programs, events, classes and activities in the ways you find most meaningful and relevant.
Explore. Experiment. Enjoy!
