Through lectures, discussions, and informal education, JCP offers adults the opportunity to re-embrace Judaism from a more sophisticated place. Please refer to all our class listings to the right.
Registration is still open for all Adult Education classes for remaining sessions (pricing is prorated).
Disclaimer: In the event that a class or lecture is cancelled, JCP will refund the full cost and processing fees to you OR you may choose to direct it to a future class or event. While we will do everything we can to reschedule, program providers understand that JCP will not be able to cover teacher expenses, lecture fees, or honorariums, in the case when a class is cancelled. Table Torah with Rabbi Hannah
Share precious moments with your child through Torah text and stories. Once you join Rabbi Hannah to learn about the weekly Torah portion, you will find new opportunities to connect with your child as you share Jewish values, ideas and thinking.

Current Events Spring Series: “Croissants and Current Events” and “Lunching on Current Events”
(Co-sponsored by United Jewish Appeal – Federation)
This breakfast and lunch series will be an interactive discussion with Wall Street Journal Reporter and Author Katherine Rosman. Timely topics will revolve around current news headlines. The series is held in an informal setting and is a fun and interesting way to learn more about current affairs.
Katherine Rosman reports feature articles about technology, media and culture for the Personal Journal section of the Wall Street Journal. She also writes the “Checks & Balances” column about marriage politics which the Journal syndicates to more than 7 million papers nationwide. Her memoir, “If You Knew Suzy,” came out in paperback last spring. Rosman is married and has two young children.

Coffee with Rabbi Elianna
It’s brunch and lattes with Rabbi Elianna and an intimate discussion group focused on finding ways to make Judaism a relevant and meaningful part of your daily life. Explore modern day challenges through a Jewish lens.

Love and Marriage – A Couple’s Study Session and Wine Tasting
Enjoy the company of friends and delicious tastes of the vineyard while discussing (and debating) Jewish texts of love and marriage.

Soul Food
Join a gathering of a diverse group of women in an open and welcoming environment where we learn from Rabbi Elianna, from Judaism and each other and get a fresh perspective on being a Jewish woman living downtown. Through a little bit of learning, a little bit of reflecting and a lot of lively discussion, we will connect to Jewish wisdom and address the big questions of our lives: How can I balance and make the most out of all the roles I play in my life? How can I make Jewish customs meaningful to my family when I am not sure what meaning they hold for me? Nurture your soul and lift your spirit!
