The JCP Bridge Program is specifically designed to create a bridge into a full preschool environment, providing a nurturing and joyful environment for productive play in a consistent group setting. With options for two-day-a-week or three-day-a-week classes, children become accustomed to the routines of school in a stimulating environment. During the class children engage in a variety of activities including music, art, free play, group activities and snack as well as integrated Jewish cultural, holiday and Shabbat experiences throughout the year.
Children attend the Bridge Program with a parent or caregiver and move toward separation after an initial transition period during the first part of the school year.
The Bridge Program serves children who are between 21 months and 2.2 years on September 1 of the year they begin the program.
