We are honored to invite you to JCP for the High Holy Days as we celebrate the New Year through meaningful services and enriching community gatherings. This sacred time offers us a special opportunity to reflect and rejuvenate our spiritual practices while deepening our connections with one another.


Whether you’ve been with us for years or are joining us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you into our community and sharing this season with you for gatherings that are spiritually enriching and deeply meaningful.

Erev Rosh Hashanah
Join us for services in honor of Erev Rosh Hashanah (the night before the holiday). We’ll gather for a meaningful and reflective service to begin this sacred time of year.

Rosh Hashanah Tot Service 
Families with children ages five and under are welcome to Join Rabbi Deena Silverstone and our Musician-in-Residence Molly Rose Hoenig for your favorite holiday songs and stories.

Rosh Hashanah Youth Service (K-5th grade)
Children in Kindergarten-5th grade are invited for a morning of holiday music, arts, activities, and a children’s service led by Rabbi Josh, along with lunch and snacks! This drop-off program will take place during the main service.

Rosh Hashanah Main Service
Join Rabbi Deena Silverstone and Musician-in-Residence Molly Rose Hoenig for a reflective and engaging service as we celebrate the beginning of a new year. We will sing our beloved High Holy Day melodies, introduce new traditions, and share words of wisdom for this sacred season.

Rosh Hashanah Middle School & Teen Services*
Students in grades 6-8 and 9-12 will explore Rosh Hashanah themes in a program designed just for them.
*Middle school students and teens may attend both the services for their age group and main services with separate registration.

Kiddush Lunch
Celebrate the New Year with community, connection, and a festive Kiddush lunch.

Rosh Hashanah Traditional Service
Led by Rabbi Josh, this service offers a traditional prayer experience for adults and teens in an intimate setting.
Weds, 9/249:15am-12:00pm
Rosh Hashanah Family Tashlich
Join us for a fun and festive Rosh Hashanah singalong and picnic! The music and storytelling will be followed by Tashlich, the ceremony where we symbolically rid ourselves of wrongdoings of the past year. We encourage you to bring a blanket and picnic lunch (no single-use plastics).

Yizkor
On Yom Kippur, we take time to remember loved ones who are no longer with us. Amidst the unimaginable pain and loss that the Jewish people have experienced this year, we will come together to mourn, to remember, and to find strength and resilience through our community.
