Learning Opportunities

Early Childhood Center

The Early Childhood Center (ECC) provides children and families a play-based, child-centered environment to explore Jewish experiences and values and deepen their sense of individual identity through our early learning opportunities and preschool program.

Preschool Admissions

Hebrew School Project

The Hebrew School Project (HSP) is our experiential, after-school Jewish education program. Learners in grades Pre-K to 12 meet to explore Judaism in a warm community environment.

In our fun-filled classes, learners approach Judaism through art, music, storytelling, and history, and hone their Hebrew skills. At HSP, we build meaningful connections and welcome all at any level of Jewish education!

Adult Learning

We believe learning should be fun, engaging, and meaningful at any age! Join our Adult Learning opportunities, led by our rabbis.

Our Classes and Programs

Foundations of Judaism — Through open conversation and dialogue, we will explore the resonance of core Jewish values for our lives today in the twenty-first century.

Women’s Torah Study — Join us for meaningful learning and community building in discussions led by one of JCP’s rabbis.

Grandparent Reading Group — Join other grandparents in the JCP community for a book discussion.

Volunteer for Loaves of Love this spring!

March 8–May 10

As a volunteer, you will be matched with a Holocaust survivor living in NYC. You’ll visit your match 2 Fridays/month and bring them a challah along with other homemade Shabbat items. You’ll purchase and pick up the challah from JCP. Let us know if you want to volunteer here. Spots are limited.

Friday Evening Shabbat Services

Teens can assist at services and receive volunteer hours. To learn more and sign up, contact Lara.

HSP Classrooms
