Highlighting Healers and Hope: A Conversation with Lee Yaron

Cost:
Date: November 2, 5:30 pm — November 2, 7:30 pm

We are proud to launch a series of talks exploring the stories of Israelis and Jewish Americans who are working to bring healing and resilience to their communities in the aftermath of October 7th.

In our first installment of this series we will be having a conversation with Lee Yaron, an award-winning Israeli journalist, in conversation with Rabbi Deena Silverstone about her new book 10/7:100.

Lee Yaron is an award-winning Israeli journalist, author, and social commentator whose work centers on Israeli society, regional conflict, identity, and reconciliation. Over the years, she has contributed to publications such as Haaretz, The Guardian, The Times of Israel, and others, exploring the tensions and hopes within Israeli life. In her writing and public talks, Yaron addresses themes of trauma, memory, resilience, and the search for meaning in the aftermath of violence. We are honored that she will open our series by sharing her insights—both personal and journalistic—on how individuals and communities navigate loss, uncertainty, and the challenging path toward healing.

This event is recommended for adults and teenagers.

This event is free for JCP members and costs $18/family for non-members. All guests will receive a free copy of Lee’s book.
