Shari Coats is a proud Texas Longhorn. She is an employment attorney and recently retired Deloitte principal, where she was the Deputy General Counsel and served on the Extended Leadership Team. Shari earned her MHS in Mental Health and currently conducts mental health research with Johns Hopkins University. Community service has always been important to her and her family, and, in addition to JCP, she serves on the Board of The Mercy Center, serves various roles at her children’s schools, and participates in community food programs throughout New York City. She and her husband, Stephen, have 3 children who have all gone through JCP’s HSP program.
