Join us for an informational session about celebrating your child’s b’nai mitzvah in Israel. We will be joined by our Israel-based partner, Rabbi Galit Cohen-Kedem, of Congregation Kodesh v’Chol in Holon, Israel. Even if your child’s ceremony is far in the future, we encourage you to meet with Rabbi Galit in-person if you are considering holding a ceremony in Israel.

Join the JCP community for a home-hosted discussion led by our Israel-based partner, Rabbi Galit Cohen-Kedem of Congregation Kodesh v’Chol. Learn about her experiences over these past months, and about how we can continue to show support for Israel. Refreshments will be served, and the discussion will begins at 7:30pm. Babies & Blessings
Babies and their caregivers are invited to gather at JCP to sing songs and read stories with Rabbi Deena during this weekly Friday program. At the end of each session, your family will get a challah to help celebrate Shabbat at home. Babies & Blessings serves as a wonderful introduction to JCP’s preschool and Jewish life programs, as well as a great way to meet other families in the neighborhood!

Friday Evening Shabbat Service with HSP Second Graders
Join Rabbi Sam and our Musician-in-Residence Molly Rose at 146 Duane Street to celebrate Shabbat at 6:00 p.m. Our Hebrew School Project’s second graders will be joining the service.

Community Service Toy Drive
We need kids (and their grownups!) to help us set up a toy drive for Room to Grow. Kids will decorate signs for each type of toy and help sort donations. Bring a new or gently used toy to participate.
